JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) is available at the Estonian University of Life Sciences network until 16th June. 

 

JoVE is the leading producer and publisher of video resources with the mission to increase the productivity of research and education in science, medicine, and engineering. The content of JoVE is divided into two: JoVE Research and JoVE Education which include around 14.000 videos.

 

JoVE Research includes a scientific video journal (JoVe Journal) that is peer reviewed, multi-disciplinary, and indexed in PubMed and Web of Science. In addition, there is an online video encyclopedia of state of the art research experiments (JoVE Encyclopedia of Experiments).

 

JoVE Education contains video textbooks (JoVE Core), which explain concepts taught in undergraduate courses through animations and real-life experiments; and multimedia textbook (JoVE Book), where scientific concepts and practices are conveyed through video demonstrations, in-depth text explanations and practice quizzes. It is also possible to use a video library (JoVE Science Education) dedicated to teaching scientific experiments through engaging and easy-to-understand visual demonstrations; and different videos are findable for teaching lab courses (JoVE Lab Manual).
