Asser Murutar (1934–2017) was a legendary lecturer, philosopher and sociologist, pioneer of rural sociology at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. He believed in the possibility of a dignified rural life in Estonia and worked passionately for it.

 

The book „Inimeste maa. Aeg. Asser Murutar ja teekaaslased“ was compiled and edited by Aare Kasemets, published by Alo Murutar.

 

The presentation will take place in the Library of Estonian University of Life Sciences on October 28 at 5.00 p.m.
