On March 26, Alar Karis, the President of the Republic of Estonia, celebrated his 65th birthday.

 

In 2004, as rector of the Estonian University of Life Sciences, he encouraged the establishment of a student-oriented research school.

 

The school has been operating for nearly 20 years. 550 students have graduated from it.

 

The Estonian University of Life Sciences presented the president with a special publication of the research school.
