Triin Jahu’s textile exhibition “Noticed Unnoticed Nature”

On November 27 at 15:00, Triin Jahu will give a tour of her exhibition in the library. Everyone is welcome!

Triin Jahu: The idea of the exhibition originated from my curiosity to notice the beauty of nature in its most imperceptible  state.

When walking along forest paths, parks or coastlines, we usually only pay attention to what is immediately visible. The details in the stones, mosses and leaves around us are easily overlooked.

These details have been collected directly from nature. I have woven them into patterns and applied them to textiles.

Art recreates.

Art brings back the lost world.

And life regains its vision.

Every pattern is unique and unrepeatable.

Our nature is so rich and has so much to offer.

Triin Jahu graduated from Tartu School of Art in 2023, majoring in graphic design.

The exhibition is open in the library until January 10, 2025.

You are welcome.
