Starting in 2025, the JSTOR Global Plants database will be accessible on the EMU computer network.
The Global Plants database is the world's most extensive and continuously growing collection of plant-related information. It features high-quality photographs, digitized herbarium specimens, expedition drawings, and more gathered by botanists and research institutions worldwide.
Global Plants consists of 66 sub-collections, which, in addition to plant specimens, include botanists' correspondence, diaries, illustrations, and photographs. Selected sub-collections feature numerous reference works and books, such as The Useful Plants of West Tropical Africa, Curtis’s Botanical Magazine illustrations, and the Kew’s Directors’ Correspondence collection.
Happy exploring!
