Renewing your due dates is possible:

  • independently by using a personal reader account MY ESTER

You can log in using a username, ID-card, mobile-ID, or SIS. Username is Estonian national ID, Estonian ID-card number, or library card number. If you have forgotten your password, click on the link Forgot your password?. After entering your username you will receive an e-mail. The link given in this e-mail can be activated within 3 hours for setting up a new password.

Renewing is possible if the item is not on hold for another person.

Items by due date 3 months and 1 month are renewable 4 times, items by due date 1 week and 1 day are not renewable.



Fines will be assessed to overdue library materials based on the established procedure as follows:

  •  3 months/fine 0.05 € for an item per day

  •  1 month/fine 0.05 €  for an item per day

  •  1 week/fine 0.35 € for an item per day

  •  1 day (24 h)/fine 0.35 € for an item per hour

Users with fines or overdue items will not be served

Fines and lost (or damaged) library materials can be paid in cash, by bank card, or by bank transfer (based on an invoice submitted by the Finance Department of the Estonian University of Life Sciences).
