Within the EMÜ Network

Access to databases is network-based, and most databases will automatically recognize users when they are connected to the EMÜ network. Some exceptions may require passwords even within the EMÜ network—in such cases, this is indicated in the database list below.

Outside the EMÜ Network

To access e-resources from outside the EMÜ network, you must use the EMÜ OpenVPN service. More information about using EMÜ OpenVPN can be found in the Remote access to e-resourceslink opens in new page section.

In addition to reading rights, the agreement includes open access publishing without article processing charges.

Through the Ebook Central platform, the university subscribes to the collection

compiled by ProQuest, which includes a wide range of scholarly literature from leading publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, and many others.

To use Estonian Standards, you’ll need a password – even if you are connected to the EMU network (with a cable or via OpenVPN). Just email [email protected] to get it

  • You can access the Estonian Standards for all ICS groups
  • Note: ISO/IEC standards are not included
