Researchers at the Estonian University of Life Sciences can now publish open access in eight former hybrid Royal Society journals free of charge. To qualify, authors must submit their manuscripts using their @emu.ee email addres.
From 2026 onwards, researchers at the Estonian University of Life Sciences have the opportunity to publish articles (up to 1,000 articles) fully open access in eight former hybrid Royal Societylink opens in new page journals under the Subscribe to Open (S2O) model, without paying article processing charges, provided they use their @emu.ee email address.

- Journal of the Royal Society Interface
- Notes and Records
- Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A
- Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B
- Proceedings of the Royal Society A
