Since 1974, the FAO has provided support to its member countries to make their research outputs visible and accessible through the AGRIS platform. We are pleased to announce that for the third year in a row, the Estonian University of Life Sciences Library was recognized for its data transfer with the “Seal of recognition for active active AGRIS Data Providers 2025”.
The letter sent by FAO AGRIS states:
“The awarding of the seal recognizes your university's dedication and consistent collaboration to improving the quality and accessibility of the FAO AGRIS data platform.
Your contribution is invaluable, helping to promote the sharing of agricultural knowledge and research worldwide.”
This seal, which is unique for each data provider and contains the institution's ID, is displayed in the footer of the Estonian University of Life Sciences digital archive EMU DSpacelink opens in new page website
About history.
- In 1993, the Library of Estonian Agricultural University became the official input center of FAO AGRIS/CARIS in Estonia
- in 2000, the Library of Estonian Agricultural University began to perform the tasks of the FAO depot library
- from 2021, the Estonian University of Life Sciences digital archive EMU DSpace was integrated with the FAO search engine AGRISlink opens in new page
